Random but... I cannot tell you how grateful I am for Reed Timmer, storm chasing legend.

Here is why:

- the guy legitimized storm chasing and created a brand new field of meteorology (extreme meteorology, cool AF right)

- weather was my first special interest EVER, and his storm chasing show from the 2000s GOT ME HOOKED

- the guy is clearly neurodivergent and stims a LOT on his show Storm Rising on Disney+ (My husband has a hard time watching with me because Reed gets all excited and claps and he's loud and then I do it and it's a thing)

- he makes himself accessible to fellow weather nerds/fans. he does livestreams for almost every big storm and I've gotten to discuss weather with him on multiple occasions

- he created a bomb ass storm chasing app (RadarOmega) that is the only tool I need to chase, amazing

- I just love him he's my idol, he's crazy, and I want him to be my best friend ok that is all.

Sometimes I wish I lived in a place that had winter. But then I see all the snowpocalypse pics and doom posts and I'm like, nah.

I do wish it would snow. Once. We haven't seen snow here in like 367 days.
