How does one dress for an anticipated 60 degree temperature drop? (Glares hard at Mother Nature). I think I will pack a sweater and joggers to the hospital so I can change up there when I come home tonight.

It is just disgusting out. I will need to wring myself out when I get home from lite errands this morning. I am so over summer!
Sigh. I just want to drink hot chocolate, eat brownies, and watch cartoons/read books all day. Unfortunately I have to adult, which should be a crime when it is below zero.
I am starting to think every time some idiot denies climate change Mother Nature turns the heat up a degree just to get even. Wanting fall vibes but just getting excessive heat warnings.
the weather:
The record heat from earlier this week will now make way for strong winds of 20-30 miles per hour and gusts as high as 40 miles per hour.
lovely
time to get a comfortable hazmat suit
Is there a word for when you are cold and can think of several things to make you warmer, but if they all involve moving out from under your current blanket and thus being a little colder for a minute, you will not do them? Basically delaying better comfort because it involves a small amount of discomfort to achieve it? Or saving it until you absolutely have to move for other reasons.
Can You Break Up With Winter?
Asking for a friend? Ugh, I am so over you, winter. Colder than I can remember but not cold enough to shut anything down, and you dump snow on top?
No. This is the opposite of what I want. It’s October, dammit. I want to wear sweaters and drink hot chocolate and make blanket burritos with the cats.
