More info in the toyhouse in my bio c:
Bailey: I was preyed upon as a young child with promises of magic I was too young to understand, I now know intimately that all that awaits me after my body dies is horrible silence and darkness because my soul is tied to my magic instead of whatever afterlife there might be. I’m often overwhelmed with grief and fury so strong I can barely stand it.
Jonesy: I took my magic trade from a weird guy I found in the woods when I was 19 :)
Bailey: I have no response to that. It’s literally too stupid to process.
that’s so so fucking sad, blease let Bailey into the afterlife..
Bailey and Jonesy actually have an out to their ‘and I must scream’ destiny because if reality unspools it’s going to free everyone who took the magic trade, but that’s still UHHHH not the best. I think I’ll make a proper post explaining Bailey and her arc today, she’s the protagonist of one of my older weaververse stories and she’s undeniably a tragic hero but still absolutely a HERO
