idk man sometimes i like it when video game writers are allowed to plan a series of events that happen in a specific order and affect each other in turn to become an overarching narrative, and i don’t mind trusting those writers to take me through those events in the order that is emotionally effective. i don’t really care if a game forces me to go through the forest area first before i can attempt the icy area because maybe there’s things that happen in the forest area that inform later scenes in the icy area. maybe we don't need more superficial player choice open world concepts if it comes at the cost of the ability to write a story with actual significant plot events and character development in each section

On the northwest Belgian coast, there is a little known tradition: shrimp fishing on horseback. The activity consists of what its name describes: fishing shrimp on a horse. In the 15th century, shrimp fishing on horseback was still practised on the North Sea coasts in France, the Netherlands and even the South of England. This activity represented an extra revenue needed for the household. Nowadays there is only one place in which it is still ongoing: Oostduinkerke, a sub-municipality of the municipality of Koksijde.

Kann ich mal sagen, dass es abartig ist, dass jede zweite Radiomoderatorin beim Ankündigungen der nächsten Hitzewelle die "Ich weiß manche von euch werden leiden und krepieren 😂🥺 Aber ich mag's ja heiß 🤪🙈🌞 Nächstes Wochenende wieder 40 Grad 😍🙏🤤😝"-Masche schiebt? Fühlt sich ziemlich nah an Klimawandelleugnung. Extreme Hitze ist kein Späßchen und kein Anlass für gute Laune. Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen sterben. Ich muss mir wieder überlegen wie ich die Innentemperatur ohne Klimaanlage unter 32° halte, damit meine Katzen nicht sterben. Aber schön, dass du dich auf Planschen am See freust, Steffi.
