Getting my weaving professionally inspected
New project on the loom, leg wraps for my brother. Mostly brown/gray wool, but striped through with some rainbow colors, which will also show up here and there in the weft. Red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple, but the green and purple don't really stand out, even in better light. My loom wouldn't be able to handle the length of warp needed to make both of them, so they're actually being woven side by side.
And what would weaving be without a dubiously helpful assistant?
Perks of working in a warehouse is everything is an easy anchor point. First attempt tablet weaving, I can see the pattern starting 👀
finally started a new weave after warping my loom a week ago. I went on a short trip this past weekend and immediately when I returned I ended up with a last minute housesitting/dogsitting job so I haven't been home since then
AND now i have an inkle loom that's supposed to arrive in the mail tomorrow. i cannot wait to have no responsibilities or commitments this weekend
