Behance provides these users with opportunities for employment in creative sectors, and to sell their work, as well as a visual exposure and the ability to network with like-minded artists. It allows you to control your professional identity online and the find the people and knowledge you need to achieve your goals. You can stay informed about your contacts and industry. Could Designers and Artists use this service? This technology is great for designers and artists to promote themselves professionally over the internet, advertise their work for sale and can link to people and companies. You can filter a set of results to include only those companies that have a direct connection to your work. As a student who doesn't have a practice set up yet, LinkedIn isn't too useful but once I have finished artschool and I try to make it on my own. LinkedIn will be very useful to set up my identity professionally and help to find people and businesses who can help me with my work. Who can use the service? and Is it free? The service is available to anyone who wants to promote themselves, their work or their businesses. LinkedIn is free to setup.
