Ended!

Two days ago I was able to finish my first Wordpress site. Though I started with a slightly different layout, I finally opted for different colours and background. Here you can see the image I used for the header (an illustration I made the same morning). The portrait I showed in the last posted changed into my introduction photo.

I tried to keep a simple palette (red, some green and a pink-brownish tone). I created three pages. A Homepage, a Blog and another one with some more info about me. The style as the palette is simple, but I like it. I used some widgets too: three on the sidebar and one on the footer.

I thought I would stick to the 1-plugin the brief was talking, but I ended up needing three. The first one for a future portfolio I want to make, it’s calle Catch Gallery, a second one for including more widgets, called Essential Widgets, and the third and last one, that actually you can see operating in the screenshot, it’s Insert Headers & Footers. I was able to change the fonts thanks to this tutorial that recommended it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz2XWNkyf8I).

It was a bit confusing at first how to use the last plugin but once you get it, it’s very handy!
