WebNX: Intel 144gb ram 15k raid 10 $299 3930k 32gb, 256gb ssd$149 32cr 512GB RAM$899 Pretty nuts imo. 144GB of ram for $300/mo. What I don't understand is why it's so cheap compared to a sandy bridge. I'm guessing it's because it doesn't have as fast of a processor and the RAM might be slower ram. But it still seems strange to have a server with that much ram. I wonder if there is a chance of this doubling in a few years to 300GB of RAM or if this is an extremely good deal for its time and not likely to be topped for a while. kind of like when 2TB drives came out years ago and haven't been doubled for a very long time.
