To Your Moralless (Webcomic)

Genre: Thriller/Smut
This one's yandere is probably what you would classify as a black or dark flag even if he hasn't done anything that's very violent yet. The tone of the webcomic is very oppressive feeling and you can really feel the kind of danger the female lead is going through. Even so, I feel like the female lead in this one is pretty strong despite everything she is going through as well. As of current there are about 35 chapters out.
The story starts out with Tae-ri with another guy named Park Shi at the police station duking out some issue. As Taei-ri tries to leave, she comes across his brother who rebukes him in front of everyone and even starts to beat his brother up. It seems that he's a prosecutor, Park Chi-Kyeon and ends up talking to Tae-ri afterwards. Tae-ri finds this guy refreshing in the sense that he is straightforward (and I guess is cool with just beating his brother up.) Tae-ri refuses to drop charges as she's been pushed around all her life and doesn't find it fair that Park Shi is able to get out of situations so easily because he knows the right people. The prosecutor gets fed up and asks her to give her number before he ends up driving his brother back home. We learn that Taei-ri is part of a very rich family, however, she doesn't have that much freedom because her parents are very overprotective to the point of tracking her, thus the reason why she has such a strong attraction to Chi-Kyeon. The two have lunch together to better discuss the charges against his brother and eventually Taei-ri asks to have sex with him, as she knows the reason why he is trying so hard to get the charges dropped is because his father is a politician. Chi-Kyeon agrees pretty quickly and after dinner the two go to a nearby hotel. The two essentially do some foreplay before Taei-ri backs out with Chi-Kyeon telling her to give him her bank account so that he can wire her money.
Upon going home, Tae-ri's house is surrounded by police cars and finds that her dad has freaked out because she didn't reply to her phone call. Due to this Tae-ri lashes out, leading her dad to slap her. At night, her mom tries to tell her it's because her dad cares about her, though she questions it, hating being so suffocated in this life. Suddenly though, her dad is found illegal for a lot of things, leading her rich family to fall apart in an instance. A couple years later, she regrets not taking the money from Chi-Kyeon and reflects on her bratty personality back then. She gets a call for being paid triple as a driver and she takes it, eventually running into Chi-Kyeon, who hired her (by accident) in the first place. Chi-Kyeon makes small chat with Tae-ri about her family's downfall and how she could have reached out to him as well, until she gives proposition that he could get his father out of jail. Tae-ri gives a blowjob for a sum of cash on Chi-Kyeon's part. We see Chi-Kyeon's family where his brother is complaining about living with Chi-Kyeon and being treated like a child. The two seem to fear Chi-Kyeon quite heavily, and he goes to take a bath where he masturbates to the thought of Tae-ri. Chi-Kyeon talks to a mistress about a golf course, with Chi-Kyeon forcing her to hand over the list of her rich clients. Meanwhile, Tae-ri is being harrassed by her boss until Chi-Kyeon steps in to protect her from being hurt while outing while also blackmailing him on various things.
The two are eating dinner together and Chi-Kyeon reveals that he has been wanting to sleep with Tae-ri for a while, with her thinking that's pathetic. The two talk about Tae-ri's family and what her dad's illegal actions were, which seems to be that he was used as a scapegoat, leading to Chi-Kyeon to want to rectify that injustice because he wants to sleep with Tae-ri. The two have sex for the first time and afterwards he searches for more clues about what's going on with her father's injustice. He ends up going to what seems like a sex party with a bunch of lawyers, and is uninterested and downright insulted that any of the women want to sleep with him. Tae-ri on the other hand gets sick after having sex, leading to her friend being worried about him, though it seems that Chi-Kyeon actually lied to the friend that he was Tae-ri's cousin instead. Chi-Kyeon forces Tae-ri to quit her job at the casino, but not after Chi-Kyeon comes to talk to her father. Chi-Kyeon is not only able to get on the good side of her parents, but also force her to quit her job at the casino by outing it to her mother and convincing them to have her stay at his place. The two basically have exhibition sex while her mom is on the other side of the door straight after.
Tae-ri ends up moving to Chi-Kyeon's house to meet his mother and brother (again), though we see that neither seems to really like her. She realizes upon going to her room that he's only keeping her because to him, she's unpredictable and decides to simply act the way that he wants her to act which is more or less to service him until he gets sick of it. Tae-ri goes out to meet her friend again, only to come down with a fever when she returns. She more or less has a wet dream and dreams that Chi-Kyeon was taking care of her. After being fed, she goes down to talk to Chi-Kyeon and the two discuss about her dad and basically after seeing her thank him, decides that basically he will do his best depending on how well Tae-ri can satisfy him (mostly sexually), especially using the fact that Tae-ri hasn't talked to her dad in a while to make her give him a blowjob, though Chi-Kyeon notices her skills and gets jealous thinking that she learned to service another man. After having sex, she somehow ends up having to deal with Park-Shi while the two eat out. Tae-ri pushes back by not only essentially calling Park an asskisser for his brother, but also talking about her own family, about how her dad started from the bottom and worked his way up, only to have it destroyed in an instance. Chi-Kyeon forces the two to come back and pretty much beats up Park for taking Tae-ri out of the house when he wasn't there, at least until Tae-ri stops him. Afterwards the two have a conversation about Park and about how he beat up someone so badly that they're basically hospital ridden for the rest of their life. After Tae-ri basically tells him off, Chi-Kyeon starts to masturbate afterwards to the things that she says. At work, Chi-Kyeon essentially waterboards someone in the bathroom for talking down about Tae-ri's family and also threatening because his family has connections to the mafia, that he and his high ranked dad could be taken out very easily. Chi-Kyeon forces Tae-ri to eat and the two end up going to a drive through theater to watch a movie. Tae-ri suggests to have sex as a way to comply to their agreement and the two have car sex while watching the movie. While shopping with Tae-ri's mother, she mentions that Chi-Kyeon is going on a blind date, though feels disappointed almost as he wishes him a good blind date. We find that he is meeting up with an attorney named Kim Jeongha, who seems to only care about marriage in terms of power. Chi-Kyeon gets fed up after hearing that she wants him to clean up his act and leaves while Tae-ri gets jealous at home. She ends up seeing a drunk Chi-Kyeon at home, being much more affectionate. The two end up having sex afterwards and Tae-ri has to deny her feelings towards him. Chi-Kyeon ends up treating Tae-ri's dad to some expensive looking sushi and Tae-ri and her dad reconcile. Here, Chi-Kyeon finds that if he keeps her dad steady, then she will just leave him, and he thinks about trying to get rid of her dad once and for all.
After this encounter, Chi-Kyeon gives Tae-ri an unlimited credit card for her to go and visit her friend. Her friend tries to bring up any relations that she has with Chi-Kyeon but ultimately she denies it. Upon going back, she finds Chi-Kyeon talking to his dad about the recent events and he is very displeased about his interaction with Kim. He forces Chi-Kyeon to drink some soup that he laced with peanuts, something that Chi-Kyeon has a terrible allergic reaction to.
The webcomic itself has a pretty oppressive atmosphere like I said, where everything seems to have something wrong going on all at once, though part of it is the characters themselves as they have their own flaws that cause the situations to escalate.
Tae-ri is a good start. Initially in the story, she is very bratty and entitled (as she herself states later on), feeling constantly bored with the people around her, only finding excitement after meeting Chi-Kyeon and instead of taking the money like he offers, instead asks for sex. We do see why she has this kind of attitude though, not only growing up rich, but also having parents who are very overprotective of her into adulthood is very straining to her, on top of all of the other guys around her wanting to sleep with her because she's rich, so we can see why she has such a rebellious and uppity attitude in the beginning. However, after her dad is sent to jail, Tae-ri is sent more to survival mode, having to work multiple jobs before meeting Chi-Kyeon, and where she tries to use her body again to get money from him. Though she is definitely in the weaker position of power, having to rely on Chi-Kyeon to help get her father out of jail and restore their life, she continues to have her defiant side, not wanting to deal with any of his family or him and mostly just trying to do things that she thinks Chi-Kyeon would want, namely sex. It must be tough for Tae-ri since she has to play to Chi-Kyeon's favor in order to get him to free her father (especially since she literally has nothing to pay him with but her body), but her pride is definitely causing him to exploit this way more than he probably would have otherwise. Now that she's developing feelings, it makes me wonder if eventually she will become less bratty towards him and become more accepting. I will say though kudos to her for actually trying to find a way to free her dad, despite how protective he was towards her in the beginning, even if this is just a very unfortunate situation she put herself in.
Chi-Kyeon is a whole other beast. His father is a powerful politician and he is the favored child in the family, being a prosecutor and seems to have more power than even his own mother. He is the type of person who does not care about hurting people if they annoy him or otherwise exploiting others for his own benefit. Chi-Kyeon is similar to Tae-ri (at least initially) because he is also the type of person who also finds life rather boring, and finds Tae-ri entertaining because she is defiant (so again, a brat tamer). We do see in the latest chapter why he acts like this and a lot of it comes down to the way his father treats him, seeing that he also uses his own power against his own son, and even causing him to have what seems like a very strong allergic reaction just for acting out at a date. Given that his mother and brother do nothing to help him and actively hate him, it's likely that he believes in power a lot, leading to him eventually possessing Tae-ri. As a yandere, we see he's very possessive, even thinking of getting rid of the dad just because the two were dying and even straight up beating up his younger brother for just bringing her out to eat. It's hard to say how much she actually respects her though since he mostly treats her like an object or something to attain, using her for sex and finding her interesting. Based on his drunk form, and the fact that he kept on buying her porridge while she was sick, it's clear that he still does care about her in some capacity, though he pretty much never shows it. Likewise, he's very manipulative, forcing Tae-ri to move to his house by appeasing her parents (and pretty much against her wishes, though she doesn't have a choice), getting information and blackmail through various sketchy methods (though this could also just be what a prosecutor does, I have no idea) and basically dangling things in front of Tae-ri just to get her to service him. We do see that he basically has no interest in other women besides Tae-ri refusing services from two prostitutes and essentially snapping at a potential partner after she mentions Tae-ri's family, so there's that aspect to him as well. He is one of those black flags though that people like talking about.
If you like more power imbalance stories between the yandere and the main character, you'll probably like this one. The way that the story does such a pressure like atmosphere is pretty nice, considering what is going on. I do like the idea that Tae-ri kinda started this whole mess because of her more bratty attitude, but ultimately I wouldn't say that she deserves it completely. I hope to see more of the history of Chi-Kyeon in the future as well.
