"I’m surprised I wasn’t able to dodge that."
"Don't be. You deserve what you got."

Krystal's eyes popped open wide in realization. She knew the difference. Her baby was coming.
"Help." was all she could manage to squeak.
Camping With Logan (CLOSED)
Bri leaned back against Logan who was seated above her in a lawn-chair. She hummed along with the song playing on the radio in the truck, a smile on her face. The sound of crickets accompanied the music, making the night seem all the more perfect. Everything was good now. She wasn't worried. She'd actually not even thought about the things that she normally had. Bri leaned her head back on his lap, smiling up at him.
"Remind me too call you when I need to get away again." She said softly. Bri needed this. She'd not realized just how bad she had needed it until later on. The brunette giggled and looked back at the fire, tucking her hair back behind her ear.

Lois was glad that she knew how to sneak in high-heels without being heard. She was in New York, covering Lex Luthor's offical visit to the city. He wnated to build an office complex there as a part of LexCorp. It seemed Metropolis wasn't enough for him. Lois decided to observe everything around him, because she had the feeling that the man wasn't playing a fair game. She couldn't put her finger on what was wrong with his negotiations, but that was why she was here - to find it out.
As a result, Lois followed his secretary into New York's nightlife. Of course, in disguise: a brown wig, a leather jacket, a pair of jeans and a knitted beanie hat. She went after him in a cab, then she walked. Mathhew, Luthor's secretary passed through a narrow streets of... well... somewhere. Lois looked around, realizing that she had no idea in which part of the city she was. She could only state that she wouldn't visit this area if she was a tourist. Luckily, cabs could be found everywhere in the city, so she would be able to go back to the hotel.
She saw Matthew entering the club, so she waited a few seconds, then she walked to the door, too and she opened it to face a security guard standing in the way. "You cannot go inside," he said, trying to sound threatening, but Lois wasn't afraid. "There is a dress code." "I came to the auditions," she said, knowing that in clubs like this there were always singers and dancers. "I'm a real talent," she added, flashing a smile at the gorilla-sized man. "The auditions are tomorrow morning," he told her. "Now get out." "Are you really going to send me away?" Lois pouted, deciding to give it another try. ""What a pity! You could have seen a private show," she added, placing a hand on his chest. "Only for you." "Get out!" the man yelled, sweeping Lois' hand off himself. "don't make me want to throw you out! Come back tomorrow!" "It's your loss," Lois mumbled, walking away.
Now she had to find a backdoor to get it. These places always had a backdoor. She turned down into a narrow street next to the club which led behind the building, where she saw a simple white door. Her lips curled up into a smile as she walked to it. She put her hand to the handle to open it, when she heard the clicking of a gun. "What are you doing here?" a male voice asked, when Lois turned around and faced the tube or a silenced gun.
