Did everyone look at their calendar and do a double take like me and wonder how we’re already a week into the year as you resurface from the holiday blur? Don’t worry! You still have time to figure out the details. Your wedding will not happen without you! Last year my sweet bride Natalie had to change her wedding date! What I learned from that was that guests needed to make changes to their travel arrangements and vacations while she had to communicate that with all her vendors. Some wedding vendors require a new deposit fee to rebook a different date, while some may not be available for your new date. Whatever the case, always make sure you’re reviewing the fine print and working closely with everyone. Communication is key! As for guests, I always recommend getting insurance for your plane tickets and booking directly with the hotels instead of using a third party! That way when cancelling or changing your plans for whatever reason, you will still be able to get some kind of refund!
