Screaming, Pleading, Praying; We Deserve Better.
Our generation of kids are growing up sheltered. They are growing up in a society that tells them negative feelings have to be suppressed because "No one wants to hear about that negativity"
We're teaching our future leaders the way they get noticed is with violence.
I am sick and tired of the deaths of the innocent: Whether they happen frequently in certain cities, whether sprung up by a religious conflict on the other side of the world, whether the lives taken directly effect us or not...
A gang is not the only thing that can give someone a sense of belonging. Guns and force are not the only means of persuasion. Murder is not a solution to any problem.
I'm screaming at the world as loud as I can. Pleading for change and praying it makes any difference.
