So I just did a 75% water change today so everything is freshened up and clean for the little bugger. Hungry as always and everything is still food.

Also happy to report that he’s grown some and his weight has gotten up!

He was thin and had some poor gill frills when we got him from the pet store— they don’t really know what they’re doing with axolotls and we got him before all of the all ones in their store died, adults and babies, due to a quote “bad water change.”

He’s pretty much a rescue, and we’ve been trying to get him back to a proper state for a baby/juvenile axolotl!
