Was a little bit behind on Doctor Who; life decided to get in the way. But catching up now.
I love Belinda. She yoinks the second spot from Martha and is right up there with Donna.
It's so nice to have the silliness again and women written like actual characters and not bloody mysteries.
May be a bit of a hot take but honestly? As much as I love Capaldi and Smith I got bored and fed up with Moffat's writing and his inability to write women and emotional character development.
Chibnall was a bit all over the place but Jodi and his era brought back the whimsy and I started to watch a bit. He can write women even if the plots weren't always that strong.
But RTD's return brings back the fun and the character writing I missed so much. It's not perfect. But at least it's got the vibes that were so sorely lacking since RTD left the first time.
I shall have to watch the well tomorrow though, tis too late.
