Concerning the whole "they won't remake 3rd gen. 'cause you can still use pal park to get those pokemon" thing: We'll still pretty much need a remake before long. 3DS, which is bound to at least get one new gen. and set of games for it alone, doesn't have a port for Advance games. And most people don't even own DS' with Advance ports anymore, and if they did, it'd take quite a lot of time to do all that transferring... So it's becoming a necessity.
That's a great point, thank you for sharing! c: I agree. I also am always on the lookout for more excuses for them to make R/S/E remakes haha ^^ But besides, you'd have to be super dedicated with a lot of time to get a mass amount of Pokemon from your Ruby version (or the other two) all the way to some 3DS gen six game without a remake...
