eddie wasn't usually one to let things go to his head, to be someone who relied on having his ego bolstered - he knew who he was, knew who he wasn't. and even if there were people out there who liked to give him shit, call him a freak... that was fine, he'd learned long ago to just play along with it.
...but in an instance like this? king steve harrington, cornered in the bathroom of someone's house, at some shitty house party that eddie was only really in attendance of because he had some other fun things to supply... this was an instance where he certainly wasn't going to complain, where he certainly wasn't against letting it go straight to his head.
