In the first two weeks of Organiztional Structures class we made iterations of a storyboard based on the city logo from previous classes. For this I chose the Kyoto logo. The initial storyboard was on paper, but for the second iteration I created it digitally. The consistency of the digital version allowed me to easily add sound, and turn the storyboard into an animatic. The sound was captured live at a Japanese restaurant where a friend ate takoyaki, and gave his critique of its softness. The textures were also captured at the restaurant. The greatest challenge was maintaining consistency between the newly textured look presented above, and the untextured, unshaded vector logo created in prior months.
