Week 3 Post
For this week, read the student examples. Pick 1 to grade, based on the rubric in the guide. Write about what you notice is done well, and what can be improved upon. Here are some questions to think about.
1. What does the introduction do? Break it down. What information is given? How/Why is that information important? Is it important?
2. In your opinion, does the student example focus on the content of the genre (what it's about) or the way in which it is presented/constructed (how the message is communicated)?
3. Remember that you know the genres. You selected them. You've read them, and analyzed them Does the student example give enough specific details and examples to support the analysis or are you confused (need more information)?
To recap. Give it a grade based on the rubric. Write one or two sentences why it received that grade. Then answer the 3 questions. You can do it as an all text post, but if you want to be multimodal, go for it.
