Vertu Weekly Blog - week 2
This week I have been implementing coding and making 3D models for the hub. The coding is in C#. The coding is done in MonoDevelop and incorporated into unity3D. It covers part of the GUI for both character design and on screen display. It also covers a targeting and a basic combat system. The combat system will be altered before Vertu goes live which may allow users to give items to other users.

The information that the user takes from the GUI is currently being saved to a file that is ready to be loaded at a later time, as shown on the video.
The 3D model seen in the scene is the third one that I made. The first and second attempts failed because of software conflicts and also were not satisfactory in terms of design. The modelling is made in Blender 2.49b. I have tried using newer versions but they conflicted with my version of unity3D.
