Play of the Week

The weekend comes early, I know -I’m off work tomorrow so I have more time for video games! Here’s what I’ve been sinking my time into this week.

- DARK SOULS 3 - So I got frustrated at Aldrich a couple of months ago and stopped playing. Then last weekend I had a really great time co-oping with my pal and now I am back on. I can’t believe I didn’t play this game for so long. I love it. LOVE IT.

- DARK SOULS - And to prove my love i am going back and playing the first dark souls as well. I haven’t progressed too far - so far I’ve only rung the first bell. BUT I have started the game over a couple of times, and am enjoying experimenting with different builds. I’m really into my 2 handed dex build atm. 

-SHADOW OF MORDOR - This game is so satisfying. I’ve been playing this after work while trying to resist the temptation to go to bed way too early. I love LOTR, and I loved the Batman games, so of course, I love this game. Even if my 360 copy is buggy and slow as shit.

- OVERWATCH - I’m still having so much fun with this game. I’ve kinda only until I level up, then I  switch off, but it still has a lot of appeal for me. I’m getting really into all the lore and meta narrative (so buzzed for Sombra). As I get more acquainted with another character and understand how to play them better, I feel like a whole new aspect of the game is opened up to me. This is really helping to keep it fresh, although I’m hoping for a new map soon.

Weekend Play

Due to work and family stuff, I’m pretty short of time to play games. But, I still try and here’s what I have been playing this week, and will be playing over the coming week.

- OVERWATCH: In case you hadn’t noticed. Overwatch is still super fun to me. And the short matches mean I can squeeze in a couple of rounds before heading to work, which is great.

-BINDING OF ISAAC: Another short(ish) game. I’ve been playing this before bed on my laptop. Oddly I find it to be a great bed time, wind down game. And obvs the re-playability on this is pretty good

. -SKYRIM: I know. I have so many good games that I am currently playing and new releases I want to play and here I am playing old games. Look, I know. But I dug out the old 360 and put it in my room - pretty much as a way to play games in the evening without disturbing everyone. And Skyrim’s kinda fun still… Although I have forgotten how much I fucking hate mountains in video games. Just let me get to the other side! Christ.

I’m still playing DOOM and Dark Souls, just my time constraints have stopped me from really getting at them this week :( Hopefully I’m gonna have more time to really get into games - as is I really only have an hour here or there to play. I much prefer being able to sit down for a longer session.

This Weekend

So this weekend might be a little slow a few things have come up, I will try and get a video or two up for everyone. Currently at this time there are a few project issues I have to deal with. Tyson has informed me that he will not be around this weekend for any videos or projects, So I might be kicking it solo. There also might be two more direct members joining us soon. I will update everyone…
