weekend positivity gang: after four and a half years of flat-searching and hopping between sublets lasting a month at a time and the gradual sink into a very real bout of depression (and one really fun evening where my would-be landlady cancelled my booking the evening I was due to move in, leaving me to try and get back to my parents' place in Wiltshire on one of the last trains leaving London) I finally have a long-term houseshare confirmed! I will be joining the millions paying for the lease of over-priced real estate in London and this is a good thing!!

Weekend positivity! I went to a fibre arts conference with my friend, and there was a bunch of stalls selling alpaca wool, and it turns out alpaca wool is SUPER soft!!!! I petted so much alpaca wool :D someone had even brought a pelt so you could feel the unprocessed stuff!! And the weather here’s been turning to autumn properly lately which rocks

Running a bit late to be weekend positivity but I thought you might enjoy the OUTRAGEOUS orangness of the yolks in these eggs from my local Community Farm's chicken yard.

Made some quiches with them, and they came out cartoonishly yellow.

(All the other ingredients were cream/white/green, that's pure yolk tomfoolery right there.)

Some weekend positivity! I finally moved out of my parent's house and while my new apartment looks like a tornado went through and I don't have kitchen utensils yet, I'm so happy to be finally on my own!!!

Some weekend positivity: finally got a chance to turn my fabric pile into clothes while house-and-cat-sitting, including these very loud rainbow pants!

(Warm + high + flat ironing board = premium Tiger-nap Real Estate = hemming game with Cat difficulty modifier.)

(belated) weekend positivity: chronic illness symptoms easing for the first time in a long time. was able to actually go grocery shopping for the first time in months! had lots of v good sex after a sickness induced dry spell. Had a burrito while high that felt life changing. Ate (what felt like) my body weight in fresh local strawberries. Made pesto. Played tabletop games with friends and finally have a good idea, as DM, of where this campaign is going.

Weekend positivity: we managed to clean out our fridge and i found a thing of cinnamon rolls that were still good so now we have a clean fridge and breakfast

early weekend positivity: made some tasty orange chicken & rice, and I've got a d&d session with some friends starting in like half an hour! There's a new person joining today and I'm excited to meet her character, should be a lot of fun
