Also give thanks to all those who have tried to make your journey smoother in one way or another. Your sister for the hugs and timely advice, your parents for giving you breakfast and rushing you to your commitments when you oversleep. You are more blessed than you know, and while it’s easy to get caught up in the rat race for competition, take a minute to give thanks for these people and the moments that you spend with them. The rare family dinners, the outings with friends, the happy things in life. Your life is pretty great, don’t miss out on that because of some bad mornings and workplace politics. 

Be thankful for struggle, because if you don’t struggle, you don’t learn, you don’t grow. And growing is so damn important.”
