With QotS officially back tonight...
I just wanted to look back a bit at the weekly countdown and the experience of putting it togehter.
I want to say I’m very proud of myself for actually dutifully getting it done each week (even with the couple of delays in there).
*pats self on back*
I was quite sure I’d quit/forget about it halfway through. And even though the whole thing didn’t have any sort of amazing traction, even those few reblogs and likes and comments and fun/encouraging tags definitely kept me going. So THANK YOU guys for keeping up with it and checking in each week.
I really do hope you enjoyed it.
I certainly had fun doing it. Anything that gives me a good excuse to rewatch episodes and scenes, I’ll take!
Looking at the overview I do have some observations for myself...
Like... Things I’d do differently would be maybe space out the episodes a bit better. I definitely realised when I was done with the S1 episodes and THEN we got the actual premiere date as June 6th a few days later I had already cluttered the thing with moments from S1. Which resulted to having to jump past quite a few eps and moments from seasons 2 & 3.
Also I would feature more of the side characters. For starters I’m not happy George and Kelly Anne and Charger ended up only in group gifs. Secondly Alonzo, Boaz, Bilal, Lil T, Javier and Taza are characters I was looking forward to feature. This was a direct problem from cluttering S1 episodes though. And looking at the collection I would have liked to give some nods to more of the antagonists/villains like Castel, Cortez, El Santo and Devon... even Mayo had some wicked shots that would have made nice gifs.... Alas...
Here’s hoping I get to “rectify” those mishaps on the next one ;P
