"In return, you let me hide out here whenever I need an escape plan." There's that winning smile again, all teeth and plump red lips with just the right touch of genuine behind it. It sends a rush of warmth through Aaron's body, which had him fighting back a smile of his own as his lip started to twitch.

small update !!!

a few small changes have been made to various pages around the main, but the most important change is that players now only need to be 21+ to join ! muses and faceclaims do still need to be 24+, but players themselves can be 21-23 and join our game.  in the upcoming week we’ll be having a more in depth activity check, ensuring that players are interacting on the dashboard as well as responding to our discord interest check. those who have not posted since our last check ended on june 8th will be put on warning, and required to interact within 48 hours. that being said, we hope to see everyone active between now and wednesday to avoid this issue !  we’re also continuing to post about various SHOWS & PODCASTS the website hosts, and just released our SECOND TASK this past thursday! as always, any questions can come straight to the main or the admin on discord.  we hope you’re having an excellent week, and we look forward to hopefully having some new applications to review this upcoming tuesday around 5pm CST !

it’s the start of a new workweek tomorrow here at the hoopla offices, so a quick update: 

we’ll be performing our first activity check over the course of the next few days. we’ll be posting a call on our discord channel, and to anyone who doesn’t respond there or send a message by wednesday at 9pm CST will be removed from the game. 

thursday will come with a new task for players to try out! don’t forget, our first task is open for anyone to try at any point in time. 

over the course of the week, we’re going to post about two more shows on the main for further details - while we have a couple in mind, if there’s anything specific you’d like a post about, let us know! 

monday is meme day, where we’ll encourage memes and reblogging to help with activity and muse!

tuesday and friday are acceptances and we’d love to bring in some new characters! all current members who respond to the activity check are welcome to bring in a second character if they’d like, but we’d love to have some more people as well. we have thirteen open spaces for you and your muse, so come check us out today!

happy memorial day ! 

i hope all ( americans ) are enjoying their holiday monday, and to everyone else, that the start of your week is going well !  the hoopla team has headed to the beach for the annual BBQ superlative picnic - mentioned here - where the staff ( including members of the food court & gift shops ) are welcome to relax on the sand, swim in the ocean, and eat tons of incredible catered burgers & hot dogs until they can’t move anymore.  the BBQ also hosts the annual superlatives, filled with fun trophies, kooky titles, and winners in all areas. feel free to claim whatever title you want for your character if you want them to win something! and feel free to use this as a background for threads and headcanons for future interactions.  it’s also our first monday here, which means it’s meme day! we’ve reblogged a couple onto our inspo blog, which we’ll do every monday, but feel free to reblog them onto your own accounts as well! send questions to your peers and keep your ask box open if you wish to receive asks yourself!  tag all your answers as hooplaspam to keep it all in one location for easier perusing for outsiders as well as new and upcoming members! remember you can answer these when you receive them, or hold onto them and sprinkle them when muse is low and you just want to participate! ask headcanons, send starters, or even reblog creative memes - the opportunities are endless, and we can’t wait to see what everyone does!

i will try to write a self para for this tomorrow but due to real life things i’m feeling a bit down. so i hope this will suffice

- tom would have raced in the red challenger demon. not the most low key car but he knows it would get the job done.

- with frank in the passenger seat, tom would be incredibly on edge. 

- his over cautiousness with a passenger, especially frank, would cost him the race. although it would be close af. photo finish close af ya dig.

- tom would do his best to disguise himself (with sunglasses, a beanie, and a hoodie) and would encourage frank to do the same.

- gabe said he was going to bet on the race, but i am not sure exactly what that will entail and neither does tom

1. The race. Big whoop on my end. I’ve done a lot before. I even managed to snag the car under the guise of making a small music video with it. It’s a Dodge Challenger Demon. Not my usual choice since I tend to go for the classics, but it’s stock horsepower is unmatched. And I need something that’ll get the job done.

2. Told Frank about it. I didn’t feel right about lying to him, so I told him outright. And he didn’t take it well which I expected. I haven’t told him about Jen, so the whole idea is making me anxious. Hell, it’s hard to drive with a passenger in a non-racing setting. I’ll deal. His custody of his kids is far more important than my shitty decision making skills.

3. Told Gabe about it. He says he’s going to bet on the race. Haven’t decided if I actually want to try to win, though. I know if I do get the $350k I’ll use what I need to pay off Patrick and then give the rest to Frank for whatever he wants to use it for. I just don’t want to touch that money myself.
