des.: You and your group are up on Weekly Idol as the strongest female debut in 2015 along with Monsta X as the male one. As the main dancer in the group they make you do a random dance challenge at one point Sunmi’s 24 hours comes up and you spontaneously grab I.M to help you out. Somehow this leads to more.
A/N: Hii! i’ve been working on some stuff the last two days since my summer break started like a month earlier than usual, There will be another series coming up! It’s rather leaned on horror. I hope you enjoy this drabble thingy :)
You stood silently with your members behind the camera next to one of your favourite groups out there, Monsta X. You waited for the instruction for you and your group to come in the studio in front of the camera. You stood there admiring the male idols, their hair didn't look real and their make up was blending as well as their outfits were bomb.
“fighting!” came from minhyuk to your right. Caught off guard you smiled and shook your fist “yes! fighting” you slightly bowed. As the youngest one of your group you were used to bow to literally everyone because most of the time everyone is older.
“And we have two very special groups here today! Since everything is about the great year 2015 and it’s success today, we have the two most successful male and female group here, please welcome Monsta X!” Coni caught your attention again. With loud cheers and their current title song ‘Jealousy’ they entered the set. Jooheon and I.M literally ugly danced into the set, which had you laughing on the floor. As the music stopped they stood in a line and listened to Don and Coni. They talked about their new song Jealousy (which issa bop btw) and their upcoming world tour.
“And now to our second amazing group. They debuted one week after Monsta X and battled the charts with them. Please welcome Y/G/N” Your new title song started and you ran into set and started dancing while singing along loudly. Out of all the excitement you ran to the back of the studio and made a flik flak aiming to the front. Loud cheers and screams could be heard as well.
“Y/N! Where did that come from?” Coni laughed as you caught your breath to high five him. “We are on Weekly idol! What do you think I would do?” you laughed as you slightly hugged Coni. You were put as the last in the row right next to I.M.
“So, Y/N you guys just ended the Asian & European leg of your world tour yesterday right?” you nodded, earning a wow from the boys. “We were on tour for about 7 months and we came back from Hong Kong yesterday at about 4am” Miyeon answered and the boys gasped “4 am?” Jooheon whispered to Wonho. “That means you didn't actually sleep, right?” Don asked shocked. You laughed and shook your head “We had some sleep on the flight and on our way here! We are functional” you laughed.
Coni smiled and nodded as Don continued the show “So, on your world tour each one of you had the chance to show your individual talents. Would one of you like to show their talent?” Your members automatically pointed at you and started to repeat your name. “Y/N! It’s you! You're the main dance right?” you nodded and smiled “We prepared a little dance challenge for you. You will hear snippets of hit songs which you'll dance too. If you get at least 10 out of 15 you will get a price” Coni pointed at a basket of meat which was brought in by a stuff. You clapped and stretched yourself to show off a little. Making your joints crack and bend all the way back to touch the floor to earn some cheering.
The music started and you new literally every song played. But as Sunmi’s 24 hours came as the last song, the part of where she's lifted up by her backup dancer was played. Out of reflex you turn around to grab a male human being to help you out. And the male human being is none other than I.M “Just lift me up when I put my arms on my waist!” you say fast as you started dancing the choreo. The others were dying out of laughter as I.M stood there completely shocked and taken aback. He just stood behind you and as you put your arms on your waist he grabbed you and lifted you as high as he could.
As you came down you immediately turned around and bowed to him and fast hugged him to show your gratitude. He laughed awkwardly and walked back to his place.
The result came to 14 of 15 and you won the basket of meat. Don & Coni were on to explain the next thing. But you kind of felt bad for Monsta X as they didn't have a chance to play a game and win something so as you received the basked with meat you took 2 packages of meat, and walked over to the boys who were sitting on the opposite side of you and handed wonho and I.M the packages with a big smile on your face.
Happily you jump-walked back to your seat and as you sat down Don asked “Y/N, it's your price. Why are you sharing it?” you smiled and wiggled your feet in happiness “ Because they didn't play a game and I'm sure they would've won too. And sharing is caring! “ You shot finger hearts to the camera laughing.
“What a sweet soul! Anyways, thank you for watching and tune in for AOA next week!” You all waved to the camera goodbye “That's a wrap!” the director said loudly. You took your basket and walked out of set to give it to your manager with a small “thank you”. You waited for your members to say goodbye to the staff as Monsta X came up to you “Y/N, thank you very much for the meat. That was a real act of pure kindness! “Shownu said smiling as Minhyuk embraced you in a bone crushing hug. “Thank Y/N-sshi, now we can have some delicious meat for dinner” he smiled at you as he let go of you.
You laughed and smiled “It's really no big deal! Since I really like you I had absolutely no problem sharing with you!” you said caressing Shownu’s arm.
The boys left accept one, I.M. “Y/N hi um-h” he nervously scratched the back of his neck. “Hi” you silently gave back being nervous yourself. Did he really want to talk to you? “The thing with the meat was really nice of you-u I umh thank you” he rambled fast. You smiled and waved your hand “It’s no big deal, really” you answered smiling. You looked at him with big eyes waiting for something to happen but it seemed as if the world around you stopped working,like not a single thing in this universe wanted to interrupt your very awkward conversation. “I wa-as thinking, rather asking my-umh-self if you want to go for a coffee sometime” he finished his request with rosy cheeks and trembling hands.
You smiled softly and nodded “I would love to” Swiftly you grabbed a pen from the table next to your right and grasped I.M’s hand to scribble your phone number onto his hand. “Call me, I'll gladly make some time for you” you smiled and waved him goodbye as he stood there absolutely flustered and shy. With a small smile he left and couldn't stop thinking about you.
