found a good zine at a bar tonight about the history and tactics of the stop cop city/defend weelaunee movement up to may 2022. it was long, but a good read, and provided me with a lot of important context

Weelaunee Forest, Cop City, and the murder of Esteban Paez Terán. They died of 57 gunshot wounds. Ngl, I'm terrified and excited. If we find something (unlikely but there's a chance) then we may be able to show that Weelaunee is worth protecting. Which is exciting in a sense but also my face and name will be associated with the forest if my PI decides to publish the findings.
