just wanted to say that your post about the use of “men dni” is really insightful and it influenced me to remove it from my pinned post. as much as i don’t want to be fetishized by men, you’re right that it will only serve to drive away people who are considerate enough to care for a stranger’s boundaries online, and do nothing to deter the people i actually want to avoid.

i’ll just be blocking people who make me uncomfortable from now on. thank you for sharing your perspective, i needed the call in <3

Thanks for the interaction and solidarity 💕 I always feel a ton of relief and happiness seeing other proud butch men out and around. I love people who staunchly insist they are neither men nor women as much as the next person, but it gets lonely when every single other sapphic post tells us to fuck off. You're welcome 💕 men like yourself is why I decided on refusing to back off on where I stand with my blog and including us loudly and not using the wlw tags. We belong. And being such a small minority within a minority, it's hard to find reminders that we do indeed belong, and don't need to be adjacent to women, or feminine or something else. Have a great day x

Thank you for that TMA/TME post, I’m a genderfluid person who is on T and passes really well as a man, but on my fem days I absolutely do not get treated like a “real” woman and I am misgendered constantly. I don’t suddenly gain the same privileges I had pre transition.

Hello anon! First ask for me, how exciting. This made me smile, so thanks for sending it 🫶 I haven't been able to sleep (migraine) so I was up all night ruminating and actually came across a 3 paragraph long post that ran on and on going on about "TME people" that slogged together to the point I wanted to share my thoughts. It's not the first post I've seen like that, just the tipping point, one of many! You're super right that genderfluid people read as "usually men/masc" if they're clocky get harassed and discriminated against in a really transmisogynistic way.

I didn't mention genderfluid people (trans or otherwise identifying) in my OG post but you definitely fit under GNC. I myself have had a fair few long discussions with my close circle about how much scarier it is to be in the world now that I'm on T because I get read as a trans girl very regularly (if not all the time, I think I've been gendered as a guy in public exactly once in the last year) and cis men are far more likely to harass me than they ever were previously. The lack of being seen as a "real enough" woman, besides just being dysphoric, is genuinely dangerous.

I feel the same about you!!! Thanks for being such an unapologetic example of standing up for oneself while disabled. I've taken a lot of it to heart and it's a great show of palatability =/= authenticity nor honesty. I'm proud to be disabled these days and have begun taking pride in being seen as a big, mean bitch. We exist as more than inspiration or a barometer of tolerance of bad behaviours from others. And I think when I first started seeing your posts, I found both a lot of solace and humanity in that. I'm newer to tumblr; and hadn't the foggiest this site was so wild towards transmascs and men, so running into the 4channer white women unironically using "tmes" and "afab privilege" on my fyp had me so fucking gobsmacked. It's so divorced from the real world.

Trans women irl, especially WOC, and I, see each other and generally give a nod. Like, you don't want to *out* anyone, but I get a lot of compliments on my backpack, my pride jacket... etc. tldr, this site is fucking insane to trans men. 😭 Sorry for such a long answer, but I'm more than happy to provide sanity in your notes and to this site. One severely disabled guy to another!
