When Aki opens his front door, there is a little letter taped to it with his name on it. It's very clearly from Fuyu and inside is a gift card to a local bookstore he found. Happy birthday, Aki Maeno.
"...heh. Fuyu you emotionally stunted beanstalk, it's just like you to ditch a gift and run."
Though he definitely will be keeping that card on his desk, and using the gift card to go get some new medical textbooks.
