it very well could change, but from discussions i’ve skimmed so far, it looks like each is permanent for the time being. i do think they’ll introduce some advanced customization later (hopefully!) as it would seem like something for reese and cyrus to do, assuming they’re coming back.

My mom did it and had no problems. It took awhile, but her 3ds XL came back completely repaired and with her digital file of animal crossing in tact.
