do you do speedpaints? also your art is amazing !!!

I tried before. I usually do my illustrations on Procreate on the ipad and it lets me record my process. But I transfer it over to Adobe Illustrator to do my coloring and patterns and then move onto Adobe Indesign to do my editorial layouts. The transition is awkward and it’s not as compelling nor interesting as an speed paint. Maybe in the future I’ll find a way to edit so I can release a speed paint. But for now, nah. But thank you tho :)

Why do you always add words to your art? Even Japanese and Korean? 😊

I studied design in university not illustration. 

I’m very weak in coloring and rendering. But, I want to make my pieces look finished by doing something I’m strong in. I really love studying typography and layout design and it is something I would like to do as a career. I practice by incorporating them to my illustrations :)

I’m also Korean-American and studied Japanese for 4 years! ( I always have my friends who are fluent in Japanese proof read my work as a double check)

Yes! Mainly I do digital art.
