So what would you say is your area of expertise?
My UG classes were mostly in historical biblical studies. My senior thesis was on ecotheology across world religions. My studies on my own time have mostly covered politics in the evangelical community and New/Movement Atheism.
Any chance you can clear up the murky waters of the Judicial vs. Participatory models of salvation in Romans? You asked for questions, and I could probably figure this one out with a little bit of reading, but I figured I'd ask you :)
Hoo boy, no. Sorry, soteriology is not my area of expertise.
Once upon a time, I had a giant secret crush on one of my best friends cause she was somehow beautiful, adorable, silly, weird, caring, and different than anyone I've ever met. Then she told me she had a crush on me too! My mind was so blown that I reacted really badly, but she still liked me anyhow! And now she makes me smile everyday and I get to cuddle with her and she is super supportive and even when I'm being a weirdo. :) The End.
One time, I had a giant secret crush on one of MY best friends because she was stunningly beautiful and hilarious and had a giant heart and kept my cranky in check and I actually liked her hugs. THEN I told her about the crush and turns out she had a crush too. I'm pretty sure I kind of laid on my dorm room floor for a while trying to process the amazingness.
Now, she lets me rant about everything and tolerates my family. Every day she supports me when I'm falling apart and doesn't try to make me her fix-it project. Also, she is totally okay with my Trek fandom status and doesn't seem to mind when I have charcoal everywhere. When my back hurts so much I can't move, she sneakily drops chocolate off for me and makes me grin so hard that I break my depression.
Mostly, she's patient when I can't express what I'm feeling. She gets that I need space sometimes and supports from a distance. She knows a bit about why I am the way I am...and yet she's still here? I'm amazed every day that she deals with me and I'm grateful, so so grateful.
My dear, you can be a weirdo all you want. You're still just as lovely as ever, perhaps even more so. Your weird is your charm and I fell for that <3
