I see you installed ts2, and I got really excited about it. I love your posts~ Can I ask you a few questions, though? I recently found my old discs and got EA to give me the Ultimate edition, but I've been running into problems. After I figured out how to get my resolution up (and gave up trying to get ts2 to use my Nvidia card) I started getting crashes during game-play. I am running Windows 10, and am worried it causing my problems. I'd be interested to hear back on how your game is running.

I haven’t run it at all at this point, but I’ll definitely let you know how it goes!  Mine had started crashing earlier today because I’m the queen of fearlessly changing game files and I messed something up, but that was clearly a problem that I, personally, caused.  XD

I’m going to go ahead and publish this ask in case other people have some ideas for you.

Just for the record, I ended up torrenting the Ultimate Edition because even though I bought all the TS2 EPs and SPs, I didn’t feel like dealing with humans to get it.

Looking for Awesims Redcliffs World

I saw this WCIF in the awesims tag, so I thought I'd point people to the SimsCave (she mentioned people have been uploading what they have there). You can get Redcliffs there!

I have orgin. For me it’s the file called TS3W.

I have no idea!  I have a physical copy of the base game, and even though I got ITF on Origin, I don't have any problems running it directly from the exe.  :/

Hello! I'm really rather embarrassed about this, but I have come asking for some help. You are one of the most wonderful simmers I know, and you seem to be very kind. I'm not very popular in the community, so I try to avoid things like this. Lately I have been having a problem with my ts3 game. The launcher won't launch it. At all. I've done literally everything I can think of. Its currently a digital copy of the BG only, no CC, and a fresh install. I have contacted EA, to no avail. Any ideas?

Have you tried bypassing the launcher all together?  Go to wherever your game is installed (probably Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin if you said you have a digital copy) and double-click on TS3.exe.  Your game should start.

I'm publishing this, though, just in case there's something I'm missing.  This feels like something I've seen come across my dash before.  If I can't help, maybe someone else out there can!

If you have a mouse wheel, and are in sims 3 camera mode, you can press on the mouse wheel to alter your tilt. :) I hope this is some help.

Thank you!<3 I had totally forgotten about the mouse wheel because I had never used it before. It's still going to take some getting used to, but still a lot easier than tabbing in and out. (>_<)
