Hey Auburn locals and university students! I've been seeing info about a recent sexual assault on Sanford ave. The guy hasn't been caught, so be safe. The young lady who was attacked was jogging at 10:20pm, so sounds like this guy is an opportunist. Be safe! Be aware of your surroundings, ask a friend or group of friends to walk you to you're car! It is way better to be safe than sorry. I'm not sure if pepper sprays or tazers are legal here, but if you feel you need some kind of protection, call the non-emergency police line and find out what you can carry to protect yourself.
