Check out this post… "When We Have A Need".
Leaving it right here. God Bless. When we have a need, we can sometimes find it easy to talk about it, tell a friend about it, and even com
Remembering those we have lost
When it comes to death, it’s a difficult concept for many. It’s the finality, it’s the empty space, the silence that accompanies the energy that once resided.
Talking about loss
Talking about loss allows for us to honour the memories we have with that person and to come to a place of acceptance and peace in our hearts. It is not easy, but it is necessary in order to move forward. It is okay to grieve, to cry, to feel angry, to feel lost. But it is also important to find ways to remember and celebrate the life of the person that has passed on.
It is important to reconcile the life you've lived
It is important to reconcile the life you've lived with that person in a way that allows for your own personal growth. Emotions are raw and they can stay raw for many weeks, weeks that can roll into months and months that can roll into years. But like a beating heart, those we have lost are fused into our soul, through our memories and our experiences.
It is important to heal wounds
We may be different, but that doesn't mean we can't move forward. We must learn to accept the pain, to let it wash over us until we can come to terms with the loss.
It's okay to cry, it's okay to be angry and it's okay to feel lost. But it's important to remember that healing is a process, and there is no right or wrong way to go through it. Take your time, talk to others who understand about loss. Remember that the love and connection you shared with your loved one will always remain.
In time, the pain lessens
In time, the pain lessens and you should be able to move forward. It's not easy, but it is possible. It's important for your own wellbeing and happiness.
Talking about loss can help us come to terms with the finality of losing a loved one. By doing so, we can find ways to honour those we have lost, to grow and to find peace in our hearts. How have you managed to work through loss? It will be interesting to hear your thoughts and how you came through your loss.
