Introducing the Weidenhoff Mig Fuzz. One of four of the Weidenhoff private collection. These boxes used to be auto test equipment. It appears to be greasy but has been cleaned and sealed to maintain the natural patina. Quite a challenging project. No room for mistakes. We didn’t want to just add a lot of random holes and ruins the look and feel. For instance the RML ID plate is on the back because we wouldn’t just want to drill through and cover the “high voltage” print. History: Made by Joseph Weidenhoff, Inc., of Chicago in the 1930s. Weidenhoff was later acquired by Snap-On in 1956. ...the distorted part of the music here is processed with a Mig Fuzz. Introducing the Weidenhoff 432k Distortion Box. It is part 2 of a private collection. The original Weidenhoff box is part of a number of automotive test units from the grand old days of automobiles. The boxes came old, dirty and greasy. We cleaned refinished and sealed the box to retain its look for decades to come. The sadly meters were unrecoverable. But we found a great way to utilize them.
