At Wal-Mart, these two products were priced the exact same. However, the male product has 5 more pills than the female one. If the products were priced per pill, the package on the left should actually be priced at $11.99 for 30 pills.
The most shocking discovery was when we looked at the back of these two products, at the ingredient list. From what we could tell, the ingredients were identical. We were no medical experts, so we decided to take it to the pharmasict.
The pharmacist clarified that these two products were identical. No special ingredients in either package. Both had the exact same ingredients.
How many unaware women fell into this scam? The same product for a dramatically different price. This is a disgusting method for companies to target a specific demographic.
Ladies, watch what you are spending on products, even on laxatives apparently.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Young girls may use laxatives as an unhealthy way to lose weight, to fit into the social norm or have society’s “ideal” body image. This is so unsafe because people do not receive the proper nutrients from their food, and could become malnourished.
