#21: U.S. president Andrew Jackson kept a two-ton wheel of cheese in the white house which was referred to as an "evil-smelling horror" when it was left indoors throughout the warm D.C. summer. At the end of Jackson's term in 1837, he held a giant reception in which over 10,00 attendees are the wheel in under two hours.

Thought of the day: Sometimes dollar stores have products that work just as well, and last just as long as their more expensive counterparts. Other times, you find things like "cheese" that is "not formulated to melt".
