Weird Confession

For a while, I thought that ‘Himbo’ was spelled ‘Humbo’ and that it meant husband material’’

when i was a kid, I really liked Candyland. not because I liked playing the game, but because i wanted to eat the Candyland characters.

i tried to satiate my appetite for those delicious looking character designs by drawing them and/or using a coloring book. however, there was always some leftover dissonance over whether i wanted to be the Candyland character, meet the Candyland character, or eat the Candyland character.

i also tried to rationalize my desire by asking my younger brother whether he thought they were made of candy as well.
