My gf and I were doing some theorizing and worldbuilding for our crossover-verse and theorized that Banjo, Kazooie, and Conker were all located next to or in the Jungle Kingdom. We also made the headcanon that they all had their own bestial language. Basically a language expressed through animalistic noises like grunts, growls, chirps, squawks, what have you. it was inspired by the voice fonts used for the Banjo Kazooie games, and thinking about it, if they WERE set in the Mario-verse the Jungle Kingdom is one of the few kingdoms that are heavily populated with more mammalian folk. ie: the mushroom kingdom is filled with goomba, toads, koopa, dragons. So on. It was just a fun HC we made based on speculation.

This was made BEFORE the new DK game released. the fact that Pauline speaks full English and everyone else speaks through grunts and growls pretty much turned our hc to canon LMAOOOO

also yea I know dk also speaks English in the movie but it can be chalked up to D&D rules where everyone knows common for convenience sake but also he's basically royalty so he'd kinda have to know how to communicate w people who speak other languages.

Meet two of my Pokémon Trainer OCs, the carefree Claudica(in the Uva Academy uniform, represents my Violet save) and the hyperactive Enya(in the Blueberry Academy uniform, represents my White 2 save)!

For context as to who the big kid is, that's @ruckis--rookie's persona, Geragera Guffaw, in his human form! Claudica met him when she was signed up for the Student Exchange Program between the Uva Academy in Paldea and the Blueberry Academy in Unova. She looks up to Geragera, who she sees as her senior in terms of being a Trainer and a student, unaware of what he really is. Here, they're about to meet Enya, a student of the Blueberry Academy...and the younger sibling of an elite trainer in the Unova region.

Despite their differing personalities, they get along fairly well.
