YIPEE IT'S ARFIGH SEASON!!! I was so torn between Comedy and Tragedy until I realized I get bored with straight comedy without conflict. I love my angst too much.

Then again the only books I payed attention to in school were always the ones where someone dies in the end, and my favorite book as a kid was Peter Rabbit. I should have seen this one coming. I love my dramatics.

1. Friend and I recently explored the concept of one of the ways Gera could be screwed over in a fight is if his visors glitched. He only has one pair of goggles and refuses to change it, using it as a means to improve his tech because he's stubborn asf. I also wanted to use it as an excuse to draw cartoon violence

2. Idk I just saw a vid that reminded me of them

3. I wanted to give a character a suspender harness but I didn't want to have to make an entirely new character just to do so. My girlfriend made a fantastic point in that Xerxes could just have them underneath his suit.

4. Ugly baby Xerxes. Most Neo-Animal babies probably don't look pretty and I found out that bunnies and bars are very bald newborns

Reposting the sona refs with some long awaited and much needed updates in time for Art Fight! Outside of tweaking things I wasn't quite satisfied with there's also been a few small changes to some.

Also reposting cuz the last one w Guffaw and Kit got marked as mature for what I can only assume is "woman showing skin and cartoonishly fat furry" 🙄Let me make it clear that MY BLOG IS STRICTLY SFW & PG. all of these characters ARE SFW in the context of this art blog.

I gave Gera his ass shape back out of frustration at the implication that a female showing just enough skin to map tattos is inherently lucrative. There's nothing showing. If any puritan mfs try to report it as being mature again I'm reposting and giving Gera a grundle bulge too because there's no point in keeping it pg if my posts are going to get falsely mislabled anyway.

She’s the protagonist of my comic, *Sister’s Help*

A few more details about the character:

Ig’Liff is timid by nature. She’s used to be ignored or going unnoticed by others. Though kind-hearted and selfless, she can be surprisingly competitive when it comes to magic—her forte. At her father’s command, Ig’Liff has spent most of her life in the realm of Legerdomain, where she received an extensive magical education—an education she has further enhanced and refined on her own. This obsession dedication to magical learning has made her one of the most powerful mages around. Despite this, Ig’Liff is not used to fighting opponents who do not use magic, and she often tends to underestimate them (not really knowing what to expect from them). She also almost never fights like a normal ectonurite would, as she’s used to use magic rather than her own deadly body. But she is an intelligent individual, and she learns quickly.

As noted on the character sheet, Ig’Liff is not a pure-blooded ectonurite; if she were, she would not be able to use magic, since ectonurite lack mana. Ig’Liff is half faiectonurite, a subspecies of the ectonurite that evolved in the realm of Legerdomain. Due to the specific properties of the dimension, faiectonurites have developed mana pockets throughout their bodies, allowing them to passively absorb surrounding mana. This subspecies looks down on the ectonurite race, considering them beastly and ferocious—essentially the less evolved version of their own species. I’ll leave it to your imagination how a hybrid of the two races might have been perceived.

So Ig’Liff has spent nearly her entire existence feeling out of place. Her own body, part stripes and part cuts, constantly reminds her that she is a creature of contradiction.
