tbh not much i have to say about april :) i'll just share a few of my favorite edits here

^ Apr 14, 2024 | i love this edit tbh, it just has some great vibes i think. its so simple but it works

^ Apr 23, 2024 | this edit is pretty similar to the last one with the numbers. idk why, i think i just liked the idea from the above one so wanted to do something similar. i also just think the base is really cool lol

^ Apr 25, 2024 | this edit is a bit more abstract than i usually do but i really love it. it very much fits the "weird" part of weirdcore. i dont think it did too well on here, unfortunately but that's just how it is lol

this will be the last 1 year post!!! all of these edits will be from before june 20, the date i made my first edit a year before.

Jun 8, 2024 | i really love this edit because it's an album title and song lyric from the same band (los campesinos!!!) that i have made lots of edits with song lyrics from. as i have said before, hello los camp followers from my main :) i see you

Jun 18, 2024 | this is one of my favorite edits of all time probably because it has very specific personal meaning to me and my childhood which hits really hard. i made several other edits which were also related to this one.

and that's it for the 1 year of weirdcobycore!!! ty to everyone who has supported me and this blog. i will continue to make weirdcore at my own pace for as long as it's fun for me, which is looking like it will be a while lol. idk if i'll do this next year but i have a long time to decide. ty again for all you guys' support :D

1 year of weirdcobycore: JUNE 2023

i haven't seen any other weirdcore creators do this but i thought it would be fun to do a sort of recap of my past year of weirdcore. since i organize my edits by month i'll be making separate posts, maybe one a day, for all of the 12 months, and i'll pick a few edits to highlight.

i hadn't made this blog yet in june, so these edits were probably featured in one of my edit dump (linked: june edit dump) posts along with july's.

btw new original edits are still going to be being posted during this time, i've been on the grind lately so i've got lots to post :)

^ june 20, 2023 | this was my first edit i made!!!! tbh it's pretty bad, but still has a vibe.

^ june 23, 2023 | this is my first gif edit and also probably one of my favorite edits i've made, probably because it's the first i made based on irl events so it hits hard personally to me. imo it just has some great weirdcore vibes along with the personal meaning. i got the hang of weirdcore really quickly, in june i made 11 edits and made some really good ones (imo) despite not being in the weirdcore community for very long at all at that point

^ june 27, 2023 | this is another one of my favorite edits. not much to say other than that, i just really like it :) it was the 10th edit i made, pretty cool
