Things I like about my new living space:
A kitchen! That I can really cook things in!
Pantry space of my very own, where my shiny pans and pots can sit.
Very good roommates, they are sweet and kind. They ask about how I’m doing and make sure that I’m eating well and happy.
A very, very tiny room, with a very big bed wedged into it. My room is about 60% bed and I love it so much.
The green flashes of light between the trees as the Metra rattles by at night.
A insanely comfy futon that my roommate brought for the living room. We’ve piled blankets on it and now it’s this wonderful cushy warm spot.
Proximity to dear friends
Showering without having to wear shower shoes.
Making my mark on a place that is Mine (at least for a little while).
