Best Relationship Advice?
Love is love. I am who I am. I'm gay, and I have EVERY right to love fiercely, openly, and loyally. People don't have the right to steal that from me.

Best Relationship Advice?
Love is love. I am who I am. I'm gay, and I have EVERY right to love fiercely, openly, and loyally. People don't have the right to steal that from me.
The best advice I got about love and relationships is from my family. My parents taught me since I was small that "Love doesn't make you weak. It makes you stronger it ways you would of never expected. It keeps you strong and helps you keep moving." My sister who has been there throughout everything. Who is also my best friend taught me my favorite quote. "Dum Spiro Spero, Dum Spero Amo, Dum Amo Vivo." which means: "As long as I breathe, I hope. As long as I hope, I love. As long as I love, I live." And lastly life has taught me that love can hurt you and break you, but that it can also build you back up.
My favorite love story has to be my grandparents story. Let me start from the beginning. My grandpa probably had one of the worst childhoods I've ever heard of. He dropped out of school in grade 8, his dad would beat him and his mother, his dad would lie, cheat and steal. He really had no one. He began to mix in with the wrong crowd, starting going on the wrong path. He became a drunk and was manipulated into stealing by his friends. And then he met my grandma... He told me yesterday that she is the best damn thing that has ever happened to him. He realized that he needed to smarten up or he would be just like his father. He was in complete and utter love with my grandma. My grandma got pregnant at the age of 18 and they married right away. My mom was born a little under two years later. My grandparents are still together to this day and will be having their 50th wedding anniversary coming up. My grandpa will never regret meeting my grandma, it gave him the family he never had. @haileesteinfeld
For Hailee.
“Fall in love with someone that makes you laugh and makes you feel loved.”
This might be the biggest cliche in the history of love advices but it is also the best one.
“Fall in love with their emotions. Fall in love with their mind. Fall in love with their soul. Fall in love with their heart. Those are never going to change.“
A love song I always recommend people is “Never Stop (Wedding Version)” by SafetySuit. Why? Cause I find myself so captivated by those lyrics, I love to think that some people fall in love with their partner even more every single day. I’m so playing that song at my wedding.

Hey Hailee,
The best advice I've ever gotten is "You do not have to love yourself to be loved by others. People's struggles do not define how much they deserve love." It actually changed my life. I always thought that I should love myself to be loved my someone else and it's hard to love yourself when you have depression. I always thought I didn't deserve love because of this since the day I got that advice/ quote. @haileesteinfeld
