Welcome Morning Assembly by Pre- Primary Students

Morning assembly is one of the several important practices in our culture. It boosts our energy and prepares us for the day ahead on a positive note.

Welcoming everyone to a new session, a welcome assembly was conducted on 12th April 2018 i.e., Thursday by the students and teachers of Pre-Primary Wing. Morning assembly is one of the several important practices in our culture. It boosts our energy and prepares us for the day ahead on a positive note. It is also an effective way to build a great bond between the children, teachers and the school.

IN FOCUS: UPD Freshman Welcome Assembly

The University of the Philippines Diliman kicked off the new school year with the Freshman Welcome Assembly held at the University Theatre on Wednesday, June 13. Freshmen were excused from their classes to attend the program organized by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA).  The program, which had the theme "Kahusayan at Karangalan sa Paglilingkod sa Bayan,"  gave the students a chance to get to know the deans of their respective academic units and the officials of the University. UP President Alfredo Pascual and Chancellor Ceasar Saloma personally welcomed and congratulated the new batch of UP students. The freshman assembly featured performances from the UP Pep Squad, UP Singing Ambassadors and the UP Kontemporaryong Gamelan Pilipino (Kontra-GaPi) among others. (Jon Benedik Bunquin)
