Had a last minute booking for the Airbnb yesterday so ran around getting it ready, cleaning, replacing the flowers, cleaning the Adirondack chairs and putting out firewood for the firepit. Then she tried to cancel, but when she realized Airbnb wasn’t going to refund her and I’m only able to give her back my nightly fee minus what Airbnb takes from me, it suddenly worked out. They didn’t show up til 10:30pm.
Now tonight’s guests want to know if they can get in early, but current guests don’t have to leave til 11am and then I have to clean it all up again. She’s messaged me like 4 times already, added a night, cancelled a night. Maybe I can get them in there by 1pm.
It’s their 15th wedding anniversary so I picked up that little 4” red velvet cake as a welcome gift. Normally I’d bake something myself but there was NO time.
Did I mention I’m up for Superhost status? Man has my life changed the last few years!
