I got tagged by @dragonnan for 3 random facts about myself. I’ve been out and about for the best part of the last two months, so forgive the delay in response. 

1. I haven’t had fingerprints since I was in high school. One day, they just started to chip and flake off like I had super dry skin, and then POOF. All gone. Haven’t had them since. Which makes for great conversations with law enforcement, the military, and people in general. 

2. Speaking of law enforcement - I was investigated for the murder of 16 people (roughly) while I was still in A School in the Navy. My roommates either tried to kill themselves, actually killed themselves, or vanished without a trace. When the last one went missing, I was the last person to see her, alive or dead, and all five still present roommates had to go talk to NCIS (which is another fun, long story) at their office, and while sitting there waiting to be called in, one of my roommates leans over and goes “Hey, maybe we should mention this is like the sixth person you’ve killed”. 

Needless to say, the investigation got a lot more fun after that, resulting in a temporary no-fly list, check ins at every subsequent command, and a lot of trying to explain that really - I had no fingerprints at the beginning of this investigation, I did not burn them off with acid just for you. 

3. I was such a flight risk in the Navy that when we had swim call 12 miles out to sea, I wasn’t allowed in the water because they were afraid I would get to land before they caught me. So, out of spite, I got myself on the flight list off the boat because I knew who to make friends with and I am a generally shifty fuck to begin with, and while everyone was watching the water to see whether or not I made good on my threat of running away - I took off in a helicopter going in the other direction.
