Carn Euny Granite Well Spring, Penzance, Cornwall, 28.12.17.
Whilst many visitors come along and see Carn Euny Iron Age Settlement, very few walk the route to take them past the prehistoric well spring that served the settlement. Located under a large granite rock, this natural water source provided convenient fresh water for the residents. It didn’t look particularly fresh on this day though...
