I was wondering, if w2t? will have a "common route" without any romance, since you said that players will be able to choose their route manually?

to answer your question: yes! the common route is actually pretty long and goes on for a few chapters. there’s a little bit of romance sprinkled into those early chapters before you manually pick a route, but once you're on a route, you can choose to keep things platonic with the love interest! you do have to select one of the four to progress in general, though
butt idk we'll see since we're still figuring out the exact logistics for the platonic routes in general lol, mostly because we've been looking at everything from a romantic angle for so long
