We’re back!
Hi y’all! Last semester was rough for me and I didn’t have my act together enough to continue with this blog. But I’ve got my act together now and I’ve seen a lot of talk about asexuality around Wellesley this year. So I thought now would be a good time to start this blog back up again! ~ Ace
30 Day Asexuality Challenge - Day 5
5. Tell the story of the first person you came out to.
I'm going to skip this one because I want to stay anonymous on here and this answer would make it difficult. ~Ace
Tagging for Triggers
Hey everyone!
We want to do our best to make this blog accessible for everyone, and a big part of that is tagging things.
We've gone through and added some tags to past posts, but if there is anything you would like us to tag, or a way you want us to tag it, please please PLEASE let us know!!!
30 Day Asexuality Challenge - Day 4
4. Do you identify as a part of the queer community? What communities do you identify with?
Yes I do identify as part of the queer community. I identify with the asexual community, and even though I think I'm panromantic I don't really identify with the Pansexual community at all. ~Ace
Feel free to leave your response in the asks! We’ll tag the responses with “anon day 4”.
30 Day Asexuality Challenge
Day 3. How old were you when you realized you were asexual? What made you realize it?
I was 19. I have a lot of friends here at Wellesley who are very sexual and like to talk about it, which made me aware of my lack of interest, where as before I had just thought I was too naive or a late bloomer.
First time I realized there was a word for it though, was when I found some descriptions of asexuality while googling stuff about the sexuality spectrum. ~Ace
Feel free to leave your response in the asks! If you aren't asexual please answer when you discovered that asexuality was a possible orientation. We'll tag the responses with "anon day 3".
30 Day Asexuality Challenge - Day 2
2. Are you out? To whom?
I'm out to most of my close friends, a few not so close friends, and my mom. I'm fairly confident that the rest of my close family would be fine with it, I just don't feel like dealing with the questions that I'm sure would come with coming out. Imagine your dad asking you details about your sex life... yeah... not cool... ~Ace
Feel free to give your answer via the asks and we'll post with the tag "anon day 2"!
30 Day Asexuality Challenge
1. What is your romantic/sexual orientation?
I'm asexual and am still trying to figure out the romantic orientation, but I'm thinking I'm panromantic. ~Ace
Feel free to give your answer via asks! We'll post them with the tag "anon day 1"
