‘ oh, look, auntie akina bought something! ’ mina is squealing within his embrace as he saunters next to her before sitting down on the sand; there is a fleeting kiss upon the woman's crown, as the child within his arms is lamming away to take one of the toothpicks &. eats the foreign food he never sees before, but he assumes it's something popular in their culture because they speak in japanese––––idle hands are gathering mina's hair to tie it into a pigtail before an abrupt shove of the food is directing to his mouth.
brows are furrowing in confusion as akina doesn't say anything but cautiously holding the toothpick thus he takes a bite upon the food; it's savory, &. slightly sweet, there's something within the ball as he chews silently. the ladies are waiting for his reaction, but he keeps chewing upon the food, before he realises that it's a squid. mina is quipping, ' oishi-nee? ' &. he truly thinks it's the name of the food so he glances towards akina &. utters, ‘ oishi. is that the name of this food? i think it's okay, but it's too small... ’
